Our Story
The Bangladesh Nepal Mediators Forum (BNMF), established in 2024, is a collaborative initiative founded by mediators from Bangladesh and Nepal with support from the Bangladesh International Mediation Society (BIMS). The idea for BNMF was conceived during the landmark International Conference on Mediation, jointly organized by the Mediation Committee of Supreme Court of Nepal and BIMS on February 23–24, 2024. BNMF serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing best practices, capacity-building and fostering collaboration among mediators. Guided by principles of mutual respect and cooperation, the forum aims to advance mediation as an effective, inclusive, and sustainable tool for resolving disputes peacefully.

The Bangladesh Nepal Mediators Forum (BNMF) provides a wide array of training programs aimed at resolving disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms. It offers certified courses accredited by the Bangladesh International Mediation Society (BIMS) and the Mediation Council of Nepal. Dedicated to promoting mediation practices, BNMF ensures affordability and high-quality trainings. These programs are designed for legal students, advocates, legal professionals, social workers, government representatives, and members of the judiciary. Additionally, BNMF offers a Continuous Professional Development Program to help professionals stay updated on the latest ADR techniques and processes. In delivering training and capacity-building programs, BNMF collaborates with BIMS, the Mediation Council of Nepal, and other organizations registered under the Mediation Council.
